Raploch Masterplan and Design Guide

To help ensure the highest quality urban design, a Raploch Masterplan and Design Guide has been produced providing detailed and comprehensive guidance for the future development.

Based on an investment in excess of £120 million, the masterplan envisages:

  • 900 new high quality, energy efficient homes of mixed tenure by 2013;
  • A range of external environmental improvments and sports facilities;
  • Development of a new Village Square area for community events;
  • Introduction of traffic calming and pedestrian areas in the Drip Road area;  
  • A new Community Education Campus, delivered through a seperate Public Private Partnership.
   R3 (a joint venture consortium of George Wimpey East Scotland Ltd and Cruden Homes (East) Ltd) commence
